Mrs. Giselle Meyer

Hello Penhold Waskasoo Families and Friends, 

I am beyond excited to be the first Vice Principal of Penhold Waskasoo Middle School!  I am truly thankful to have been part of creating this incredible school structure for the past 3 years and now I am even more excited to fill the halls with our students and create a place for kids to feel loved, supports and find success everyday.  

While it seems long ago, my first 10 years as a teacher I spent teaching high school sciences and math and then slowly made a transition into administration.  I love the ability to help and support both students and families through good times and bad.  I am a true teacher at heart.  I believe that every experience we encounter, we have something to learn from whether this is for our students, our families, my staff or myself included.  

I have lived in Springbrook for almost 20 years with my husband Todd, our three girls who attend Penhold Schools, Anabelle, Gabriella, and Chloe and, of course, our dog and our cat.  I keep my kids very busy with sports and activities.  If I am not at school, I am likely taking one of them to dance, softball or volleyball.  In the small amount of down time I have when not driving to and from sports, we like to enjoy time out on the water either boating or paddle boarding, spending time attending sporting events and concerts or spending time with friends and family.  

I am looking forward to this great year ahead.  I know we have an incredible staff, wonderful students and very supporting parents and community.
