Red Wing Activities

One of our favourite events of the year is the Maker's Market.

Students at all grades are invited to come and sell their homemade creations.  Students are able to book a table at no cost to them where they can market and sell all of their brilliant homemade crafts.  All money made by students they keep!!

More details about when this will be occuring will be shared so watch for the communication and the letter that your child will take home.  If you have any questions about it, please reach out to Mrs. Meyer.

Giving our students experiences outside of the school is highly important to our team.  Offering ski trips for our kids is one of those ways.  

Our Grade 4-6 students enjoy 2 days during the winter at Canyon Ski Hill where they get lessons and try out skiing or snowboarding.   

Our Grade 7 & 8 students enjoy 2 days as well however one day will be at Canyon Ski Hill and the other will be at Nakiska Ski Hill.  Typical costs for this age level is around $200 for both days to account for the additional transportation (coach) and the fees with a bigger hill.

Please watch for information that will come out before Christmas on how you can sign up your child.  The cost for both days is typically around $130 (rental, transportation, lift pass, etc.). 

If your child doesn't want to partake, no problem.  Classes will be held at school where they will still get to do some special outdoor activities.
