Reporting

Chinook’s Edge School Division utilizes PowerSchool to share students' academic progress with parents/guardians.  All parents should have an account created where they can log in to see where their child is at.  Our teachers report using outcomes, percentages (Gr 5-8), as well as sharing comments specific to your child.  We encourage students and parents to access PowerSchool frequently to keep up to date.  If there are any concerns with the reporting, please reach out to your child’s teacher.

Report cards are issued once per year at the end of June.  Report cards are to be digitally downloaded through the PowerSchool website. Please connect with the office should you not have access to the PowerSchool Portal.

Assessment and Evaluation

Teachers will use a variety of assessment methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments.  Teachers will be communicating with students and families in September on their classroom assessment plans.
